Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

What is PRP?

PRP stands for Platelet-Rich Plasma, and it's one of the most natural, regenerative treatments we offer. It’s made from your own blood—just a small sample—and then processed in a special centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. These platelets are packed with growth factors that stimulate collagen, improve skin tone and texture, and speed up healing.

We like to think of it as “liquid gold”—because of both its color and the powerful results it can deliver.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) can be used to rejuvenate multiple areas of the body, including:

Face: For texture, fine lines, acne scars, and under-eye rejuvenation

Neck & Décolleté: To firm and smooth aging or sun-damaged skin

Scalp: To stimulate hair growth and treat thinning or shedding

Hands: To restore volume and improve skin quality

Other Areas: Such as stretch marks, scars, elbows, and knees  for improved tone and healing

How PRP Works

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) uses your own blood to stimulate natural healing.
We draw a small amount of blood, spin it to separate the platelets, and apply or inject the PRP into the skin or scalp. The growth factors in the plasma boost collagen, repair tissue, and promote regeneration—leading to healthier, firmer skin or improved hair growth.

Why Clients Love It

It’s 100% natural, uses your body’s own healing power, and delivers smoother, brighter, tighter skin with minimal downtime. Best of all—results keep improving over time as collagen continues to build.

FAQs

Is PRP safe?

Yes. Since PRP uses your own blood, there's virtually no risk of allergic reaction or rejection. It's a natural and well-tolerated treatment with minimal downtime.

How long does the procedure take?

The full session typically takes about 45–60 minutes, including blood draw, processing, and application or injection.

Does PRP treatment hurt?

You may feel mild discomfort during the injection or microneedling process. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand to make the procedure more comfortable.

When will I see results?

Initial improvements can be seen within a few weeks, with continued collagen development and more noticeable results appearing over 2–3 months.

How many treatments will I need?

For best results, we usually recommend a series of 3 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions every 6–12 months depending on your goals.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime is minimal. You may experience mild redness, swelling, or sensitivity for 1–3 days. Most clients return to normal activities within 24–48 hours.

What should I avoid before my PRP appointment?

Avoid alcohol, smoking, and anti-inflammatory medications (like ibuprofen or aspirin) for at least 3–5 days before treatment, as they can affect platelet function and healing. Tylenol is safe to take if needed.

Should I come with clean skin?

Yes. Please arrive with a clean, makeup-free face (or scalp, if doing hair PRP). This reduces the risk of infection and allows us to prep the treatment area properly.

Can I use my regular skincare before PRP?

Avoid using harsh skincare products like retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, or exfoliants for at least 3–5 days prior to treatment to prevent irritation. Keep your skincare simple and hydrating.
